Ahantaman Girls’ Senior High School (AHGISS) has once again proven its commitment to excellence beyond the classroom by securing 3rd place in the 9th Annual Western Regional SHS & TVET Cadet Drill Competition, held at the Airforce Base in Takoradi.
The event, which brought together top cadet contingents from across the Western Region, saw fierce competition among participating Senior High and Technical/Vocational Education and Training (TVET) schools. AHGISS emerged as the highest-ranking girls’ school in the drill segment, showcasing discipline, precision, and outstanding coordination.
The top three schools in the final rankings were:
🥇 1st Place – Kikam Technical Institute
🥈 2nd Place – St. Mary’s Boys’ SHS
🥉 3rd Place – Ahantaman Girls’ SHS
The school’s administration expressed immense pride and joy in the accomplishment. “This is a huge statement and a testament to our passionate desire to provide holistic education to our future global citizens on the hill of light,” the school’s leadership remarked.
The entire AHGISS community, including staff, students, and proud parents, are celebrating this milestone. Special commendation was given to the cadet team and the coaching staff for their dedication, discipline, and exemplary performance.
